Easter Holidays
Looking for somewhere to visit during the Easter holidays? It is a great time of year when spring is on our door step and bringing with it longer nights and warmer days. It is an ideal time to start exploring outdoors, and really, you can't get a better place than Aviemore and the Cairngorm National park to start your Adventure. If you're looking a hill to roll your eggs down, there's a wide choice available! There's also normally (fingers crossed) the last bit of skiing going on up the Mountain!
With a plethora of things to do in the area, there's almost too much choice for things to occupy the kids with. Here's a few of our favourites, but many more can be found on the local attractions link from the explore menu above.
Highland Wildlife Park
A great day out for all the family, with a drive through area and a walk round the park you can see all the great animals on show including the new baby polar bear cub.....
Watching the polar bears playing in their pool with their blue oil drum. Laughing at the snow monkeys playing around on their rope bridges. Watching in awe at the strength of the tigers getting their feed. Catching a glimpse of the wolverine lolloping around.
There are many many more sights and experiences to be had in the area !
Walking / Cycling
There are so many walking and cycle paths around the National Park that you will be spoilt for choice. From Glenmore alone you can plan routes to incorporate some of our much loved Lochs; Loch Morlich and An Lochan Uaine. There are also many routes that will take you higher into the numerous Munros we have which include Ben MacDui, the second highest in Britain.

A great day out with Fun, Discovery And Adventure for the whole family!
You can ride a runaway timber train, rock climb, 'skydive', flume ride, see red squirrels, walk through the tops of tall pine trees and explore the world's only Bamboozeleum. The new Butterfly house is an amazing experience with lush greenness and hundreds of beautiful butterflies.
Landmark is easily a whole day's entertainment and activity and it is educational too.
Treezone, Aviemore
Zip wires, balance beams, hanging platforms, tight-ropes, scramble nets, white knuckle bridges & gap jumps, set in the ancient Caledonian Pines of the Cairngorm Mountains it's the ultimate Aerial Adventure Course for both adults and kids (at least 7 years old and 1.1m tall).
